The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, published on Sunday the declaration of wealth for 2021 and 2022, which shows that the Kyiv leader’s income has decreased, reports The Kyiv Independent, citing News.ro.
According to data on the website of the Ukrainian president, the cash flow of the Kyiv leader’s family decreased in 2022 compared to 2021 by 1.8 million hryvnias, i.e. by 47.5 thousand dollars.
In 2021, the Zelensky family earned $285,198, although almost $141,278 of that amount came from the sale of Treasury bonds.
Income in 2021 was almost $314,827 less than in 2020.
In a statement, Zelenskyy explained the lower income in 2022 by lease contracts frozen as a result of Russia’s offensive on Ukraine.
According to the statement, in 2021, Zelensky completed the process of registering 22 trademarks, having started it “long before he was elected president.” The complete application contains several dozen trademarks.
The number of apartments, vehicles and other assets of Zelensky has not changed. According to his statement, there are seven apartment registrations and two Range Rover and Mercedes vehicle registrations.
