The West’s “hesitancy” to provide military aid to Kyiv is encouraging President Volodymyr Putin, who wants to “occupy” the entire territory of Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned on Wednesday, AFP reports.

“We should pay attention to Putin’s rhetoric. He won’t stop. He wants to occupy us completely,” Zelensky warned during a surprise visit to Vilnius.

“Sometimes the indecision of partners regarding financial and military assistance to Ukraine only increases Russia’s courage and strength,” he said.

Volodymyr Putin will not stop until Ukraine and its allies put an end to him, Zelenskyy said.

“He will not end it until we end it together,” he said during a joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart Gitanas Nauseda.

In the event of Ukraine’s defeat, Russia’s other neighbors risk being attacked, the Ukrainian head of state said. “We must understand that the next victims may be Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Moldova,” he insisted.
