  • “Mother, wife, daughters and grandchildren are not to blame. They never participated in political games. They didn’t say a word. I fought, I will fight… Put all you want against me, just don’t touch my family, mother. If the lives of these people are important to them, then let them change their soldiers [ridicarea – n.red.] sanctions,” Kadyrov said.

Kadyrov allegedly gave the list of names of prisoners of war to Scott Ritter, a former UN inspector monitoring Iraq’s disposal of weapons of mass destruction, who was convicted of sex crimes against minors.

Ritter has previously promoted the Kremlin’s narrative that “the West controls Ukraine and uses it for its own purposes.”

At the meeting with Ritter, they also showed a video in which people in the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – probably Ukrainian prisoners of war – ask for the removal of “absurd inactive sanctions” on Kadyrov’s young relatives and his horses. and the aircraft it uses.
