Officials from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented a “list of weapons for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” during a closed session of a conference in Washington on Wednesday with the participation of government officials and industry leaders.

The list – complete – includes weapons that Ukraine already has, such as Abrams tanks and 155mm shells, as well as some military equipment such as F-16 fighter jets, drones and ATACMS, long-range missiles that Kyiv has also requested in other cases.

But the list also contains some surprises, including expensive equipment such as Boeing’s C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft and Lockheed Martin’s C-130 Super Hercules.

The list includes Boeing’s Apache attack helicopters, as well as the Black Hawk helicopter produced by the Sikorsky division of Lockheed Martin. But the Ukrainians did not stop there.

The documents show that Ukraine is also looking to acquire F-18 Hornet fighter jets, three types of drones manufactured by General Atomics, including the MQ-9B Sky Guardian and the Lockheed THAAD system.
