The “drone army” of Ukrainian troops has set an absolute record, said Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

“Over the past week, our heroes have shot down 428 units of Russian equipment: 101 guns, 88 armored vehicles, 75 tanks, etc.,” said Fedorov.

“The UAVs proved to be very effective in the defense of Avdiyivka,” he said, referring to the front where Moscow’s forces launched a major offensive last week but suffered huge losses in military equipment.

“There will be more drones soon,” said a senior Ukrainian official, who also posted a tally of drone strikes from October 9 to 16 on the X platform.

This balance sheet includes data from one company of the National Guard, one unit of the SBU, 15 units of the regular army of Ukraine, and one unit of the State Special Forces. According to the source, the units provided video recordings of each attack.
