Ukraine should remain focused on the defense of the state, as it was in the first days, Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in his night speech, Sky News reports.
The Ukrainian leader said that the country is preparing to strengthen the package of defense support from Germany.
“I am sure that the results will come. We are also making progress with our other partners, particularly on air defense systems,” he said.
Zelenskyi also reported that this morning, various cities and regions of Ukraine were hit by Russian shelling.
He added: “Even when there is relative peace and tranquility in some parts of our territory, we must always remember our land, our cities and villages, which are almost constantly under fire,” he said.
“And although today is the 565th day of this war, all of us, each of us, each of Ukraine must be focused on the defense of the state, as it was in the first days. Russia does not hope for victory. The enemy only hopes that we will not resist. Ukraine must resist,” the president concluded.
