Ziarul de Tulcea magazine published photos taken by residents of the Romanian town of Kilia Veke opposite the Ukrainian port of Kilia in Izmail district of Odesa region.
According to Governor Oleg Kiper, one person died during the attack. Shelling at night lasted three hours.

A local resident of the village of Plauru, across the street from Izmail, told HotNews that explosions rang out in the Ukrainian city of Kiliya last night.
Several videos taken from Chilia-Veque of the fire caused by yesterday’s attack have surfaced on social media.
“It’s terrible,” said a man who filmed flames and thick black smoke rising from the port of Chile, the target of the Russian attack.
The attack began at night and was taken by surprise by several locals from Chilia Veque.
Local residents said loud bangs were heard last night and smoke could still be seen on the Chilia Arm after the port area was hit by drones.
“There’s another one coming!” – warns the man who filmed.
“Mother!” says a frightened woman during the attack at the sight of another drone, after a loud explosion sets off the car’s alarm.
