The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine released a video with “crazy footage” showing the interior of a Humvee received from the Americans during a particularly fierce battle with Russian troops.
The video shows five Ukrainian soldiers in an American-made HMMWV, apparently on the front line. Two infantrymen in the back seats climb out of the Humvee to rush into action as a machine gun fires wildly in multiple directions.
It can be seen how he constantly changes the position of the turret, and streaks of spent casings fall on the floor of the car.
Then the car exploded, it is not clear whether it was hit by a Russian launcher or a mine. Despite the shock of the explosion, the two soldiers in the front seats manage to get out of the Humvee in no time, and the machine gunner also climbs down from the turret and crawls out of the vehicle.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine thanked the USA for this military equipment. “Crazy shots from inside the Ukrainian HMMWV during the battle. Thank you American people! Your Humvees are saving the lives of our soldiers,” said one post on Twitter.

Since April 2022, the US has sent more than 2,000 different HMMWV variants to Ukraine. As the Oryx site reports, there is visual evidence of the loss of 115 Humvees from the equipment of the Kyiv troops.
