If a private military company (PMC) “Wagner” is deployed in Belarus, then it can be used to defend the country. This was stated by the ruler of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko. His words on Thursday, July 6, were quoted by the BelTA agency.
“Whether they will be in Belarus or not, in what quantity – we will find out in the near future … We will definitely let you know about our further relations with this unit,” said Lukashenka.
“I am absolutely not worried and not worried about the deployment of a certain number of these fighters,” added Lukashenka, stressing that if this happens, “under certain conditions”.
“The main condition is that if we need to use this unit for the defense of the state (if they are here), it will be activated instantly in any direction,” said the Belarusian ruler.
Lukashenko: Prigozhin is in St Petersburg
At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko is sure that the situation with the rebellion cannot be repeated in Belarus: “I don’t think that Wagner will stand up somewhere and point his weapon at the Belarusian authorities and the Belarusian state.”

“Fighters of the PMC” Wagner “- in permanent camps”

At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko does not believe that Prigozhin will be “killed” tomorrow. The Belarusian politician added that in the near future he wants to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and discuss with him the issue surrounding the Wagner PMC.
