Reuters reported on Wednesday that a senior US diplomat will visit China in the coming weeks, citing the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Blinken will meet with Chinese officials in Beijing on June 18, the Associated Press reported.
Blinken canceled a planned trip to China earlier this year in a Chinese spy balloon that was then seen flying over the US before being shot down by the US military over the Atlantic.
