OUR Celine Dion canceled all remaining shows on her tour, telling fans she didn’t have the strength to continue after she was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition.

Last year, the popular singer revealed that she suffers from stiffness syndrome, which, among other things, has affected the way she performs her songs.

Dion has canceled all concerts scheduled for 2023 and 2024.

In a statement on Twitter, the 55-year-old wrote to fans: “I’m sorry to disappoint you again. Although it makes me sad, it’s best to cancel everything until I feel ready to take the stage again.” He added: “I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to meet you again.”

In December 2022, the French-Canadian singer posted an emotional video on Instagram revealing that she had been diagnosed with an illness and would not be able to start her European tour in February. Patients experience progressive stiffness in the muscles, leading to spasms.

She said the illness causes her muscle spasms and prevents her from using her vocal cords to sing like she used to.

The Courage World tour began in 2019 with Dion playing 52 shows before the coronavirus pandemic hit and put everything on ice. She then canceled shows in North America due to health issues and postponed her performances in Europe.

But on Friday those European dates were cancelled. “I work very hard to get my strength back, but the tour can get even harder, even if you are 100% sure that you can make it,” Dion said.

The tour will be her first world tour in a decade, and the first without her husband and manager René Angelil, who died of cancer in 2016.
