“A 35-year-old woman was hospitalized, and a 41-year-old man died as a result of a drone wreckage falling near a gas station in the Solomyansk district of the capital,” Klitsiko wrote in Telegram, Agerpres notes.

Earlier, he explained that Kyiv’s anti-aircraft defense shot down “more than 20 drones” that were heading towards the city.

The mayor called the new attack “massive” and called on the population to stay in shelter, warning of new waves of drone attacks on Kyiv “from several sides at the same time.”

He also added that there was a fire on the territory of the enterprise in Holosiivskyi district.

Kliciko reported the first explosions shortly after 02:00 local time (Saturday 23:00 GMT), adding that they were continuing.

In May, the Ukrainian capital regularly came under fire. The head of the local military-civilian administration, Serhii Popko, counted on Friday “13 night shellings” since the beginning of the month.
