OUR NASA published stunning new space telescope images of two galaxies, a nebula and a star cluster James Webb and the Chandra X-ray Observatory.
“When multiple NASA telescopes observe the same space region, the true colors of the universe are revealed,” NASA said. To create composite images, NASA turned to the James Webb Space Telescope and the Chandra X-ray Observatory.
“Each image combines Chandra X-rays – a high-energy form of light – with infrared data from previously released Webb images that are invisible to the naked eye,” the space agency explained.
NASA also included data from the Hubble Optical Light Space Telescope, the former Spitzer Space Telescope (infrared), the European Space Agency’s XMM-Newton (X-rays), and its European Southern Observatory (optical rays).

The resulting images of star cluster NGC 346, spiral galaxy NGC 1672, nebula M16 and spiral galaxy M74 are some of NASA’s most impressive images.
“The Chandra data also shows young, hot, and massive stars that are sending out strong winds from their surfaces,” NASA said.
“In regions near their center, the arms of barred spiral galaxies are mostly in a straight belt of stars along the center that surrounds the core, unlike other spirals whose arms twist into the core,” NASA explained.
