“Each of them is a hero of our state. Many of those we rescued from captivity were considered missing. Relatives of these people experienced difficult times,” Andriy Yermak noted.

At the time of writing, there is no official data on the number of troops that Russia received in response from Ukraine.

According to some data spread on social networks, among the released fighters, 68 were considered missing. At least seven of them have various diseases: bullet and shrapnel wounds, burns and fractures, exacerbation of chronic diseases. The oldest is 59, and the youngest is 21 years old.

A video shot from a drone, similar to a prisoner exchange, also appeared on social networks, the images were also shared by an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine:

Drone footage shows the sides arriving for the prisoner exchange with about 10 armored vehicles flying large white flags.

It is difficult to say unequivocally whether it is Ukrainian or Russian, since most of the armored vehicles appear to be Soviet or Russian BMP. However, it should be noted that the number of prisoners of war is much higher, we are talking about dozens of people.

According to Ukrainian military intelligence, 2,430 Ukrainians, including 139 civilians, have been released as a result of the exchange of prisoners.
