In the beginning of May, Jamie Fox he was discharged from the hospital, where he stayed for about a month.
The popular American actor and presenter was there because, according to his daughter Corinne, he had an unknown medical complication. On April 12, she revealed that her father had recovered from the incident the day before.
The Instagram post read: “We wanted to share with you that my father, Jamie Foxx, suffered a medical complication yesterday. Fortunately, with timely action and careful care, he is on the road to recovery. We know how much he loves and appreciate your prayers. The family is asking for privacy at this time.”
However, this medical complication is not clear. Prior to this, Fox starred in the upcoming movie Return to Fight. According to People magazine, the incident didn’t happen on set and he wasn’t taken to the hospital in an ambulance, as was rumored.
“I feel blessed”
Fox acknowledged the support he has received from his fans in a post on his Instagram account, where he wrote, “I appreciate all of your love. I feel blessed.”

On May 12, Corinne confirmed the news that her father had been discharged. An announcement on her Instagram Stories account read, “Update from family: Sorry the media is out of control. My father has been out of the hospital for several weeks now and is recovering.”
He added: “Actually yesterday he was playing with rackets. Thanks for the prayers and support. We’ll be announcing something very nice next week.”
A few days after Corinne’s posting, it was announced that father and daughter would be presenting a new musical game show called We’re Family, which will air next year on Fox.

This was reported in the Instagram account of Corinne. “We Are Family” will be released in 2024. The Fox family is returning to the Fox network and we look forward to this new program.”
Jamie Foxx is known for his roles in 2004’s Django Unchained, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Ray, for which he was recognized and won an Academy Award for Best Actor.
