Russia for the G7: has become a “hotbed of anti-Russian and anti-Chinese hysteria”

Russian Foreign Ministry today criticized G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan, calling it a “politicized” event that he cultivated anti-Russian and anti-Chinese statements and accused the forum of undermined global stability.

OUR Moscow made the announcement after leaders of the world’s richest democracies announced they would not stop supporting Ukraine, warning Russian President Vladimir Putin as Russian forces claim to have captured Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine, which Kiev denies.

In a statement posted on messaging app Telegram, the Russian Foreign Ministry said the G7’s position had deteriorated “irreversibly” and that the forum has become “a nursery where, under the leadership of the Anglo-Saxons, disastrous initiatives are being prepared that undermine global stability.

The statement accuses the G7 of fomenting anti-Russian and anti-Chinese “hysteria”.

Russia was part of the Group of Seven Most Industrialized Republics, formerly known as the G8, until it was expelled from it after the annexation of Crimea in 2014.

In the same statement, the Russian ministry accused the G7 of “flirting” with non-Western countries in an attempt to hinder their ties with Moscow and Beijing.

In addition, Moscow says it believes that the forum failed to take into account the interests of the Asia-Pacific region, South Asia, the Middle East, Africa or Latin America.
