Google has decided to celebrate the parliamentary elections in Greece in 2023 (05/21/2023).

As her doodle mentions, “this is the first election since 1990 that will not use the enhanced proportionality electoral system abolished by law 4406/2016, but the simple proportionality system.”

Voting will end at 7:00 pm, and shortly thereafter, the first results will begin to come in from small polling stations with fewer registered voters.

At 20:30, the Ministry of the Interior is expected to give a reliable estimate of the election results, as 10% of the departments will be merged. From 21:30 to 22:00 at night, integration will reach 80%. Just before midnight, we are expected to have a clear picture of the MP candidates who are in the lead and in elected positions.
