At least four people, including the shooter, were killed and several others injured in a shooting in Farmington, New Mexico, local police said.
According to local TV channel kob4, two police officers were among the injured and were taken to the San Juan Medical Center. Their condition is stable.
Authorities do not yet know the identity or motives of the attacker. Previously, all schools in the area were blocked as a precaution.
Police have cordoned off Dustin Avenue and are continuing to investigate, although they believe the public is no longer in danger.
