Article in the Washington Post founder and leader of the Russian mercenary organization Wagnerin which an American newspaper, citing documents leaked by American intelligence agencies, claims that Evgeny Prigozhin offered to disclose to the Ukrainian government positions of Russian troops.

“It seems that I am fighting for Russia, but at the same time, the Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky follow my instructions. So my left hand is at war with my right,” Prigozhin joked. “Ridiculous,” he continued in a dismissive tone, judging by the audio message posted on Telegram by his press office.

The mercenary boss said he had “not been in Africa since the start” of the war in Ukraine, in response to Washington Post claims that the Wagner boss met with Ukrainian intelligence officials in an unnamed African country.

Lalistat, who is known as the Kremlin’s chef, argued that Russian elites could be hiding behind these accusations. Prigozhin has long been speaking out against the Russian leadership and the Russian military on an almost daily basis.

For its part, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the Washington Post article a farce.
