
Four people were killed today in a rocket attack on a Russian hospital in Avdiivka. Eastern UkraineThis was stated by the Governor of the region Pavel Kirilenko.
“This morning, the Russians fired missiles at the city and ended up in the hospital,” the governor of the Donetsk region wrote in a message on the Telegram app.
Kirilenko posted photos of the badly damaged three-story building, which is missing part of one side and debris falling to the ground.
A Ukrainian official urged residents of this small town in the industrial region of Donbass to leave as soon as possible.
“Each new day spent in the Donetsk region increases the risk of becoming a victim of a Russian attack,” he said.
Avdiivka was one of the key targets of Russia’s winter offensive to fuel Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, but it has made only minor territorial gains in the east.
