Three people were injured as a result of explosions in the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, two more were injured as a result of drone debris falling on Svyatoshyn, both west of the center of the capital, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on his Telegram channel.

Klitschko reported that the wreckage of the drone fell on a two-story building in Svyatoshino, adding that explosions continue in Kyiv.

The city’s military administration declared destruction as a result of the attacks.

“Probably, as a result of debris falling on a car parked in the yard of a residential building, a fire broke out,” the Kyiv State Administration reported on Telegram.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple explosions in Kyiv, and local authorities said air defense systems repelled the attacks.

An explosion was also heard following a rocket attack that hit the Black Sea city of Odesa overnight, a local Ukrainian official said, while Ukrainian media reported explosions in the south of Kherson region.

On Sunday, Russian troops bombed eight locations in the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine, the regional military administration reported on Facebook.

The Ukrainian military claims that all 35 drones launched by Russia overnight have been destroyed

Ukraine’s Supreme Military Command said on Monday that its forces had destroyed all 35 Iranian-made Shahed drones that Russia launched overnight against various targets in the country.

“Last day, the Russian Federation (also) launched 16 missile strikes, mainly on the cities of Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported.

He added that, in addition, 61 airstrikes and 52 missile strikes were carried out on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas over the past day.

“Unfortunately, there are dead and injured civilians, high-rise buildings, residential buildings and other objects of civil infrastructure have been damaged,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
