
Atlanta police said on Wednesday that an armed man opened fire fire in downtown Atlanta. According to the latest information, the perpetrator visited or is still in Northside Hospital.
Eyewitnesses said they saw the wounded being taken away from the scene of the attack in ambulances. So far, there are reports of one dead and three injured, according to CNN.
According to a preliminary investigation, the Atlanta Police Department released images showing a hooded man saying he was the shooter.

“Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of this man is asked to call 911,” police said, adding that “the suspect is armed and dangerous.”

On Wednesday afternoon, the Atlanta Police Department tweeted that it was investigating an incident at a building on West Peachtree Street between 12th and 13th Streets, noting that several people had been injured.
Fire engines, patrol cars, and Fulton County Sheriff’s Office personnel were seen at the scene.
