Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said today at a press conference in the Lebanese capital Beirut that the embassies of Iran and Saudi Arabia in Riyadh and Tehran will be open “within a few days.”
After years of feuding, Tehran and Riyadh agreed in early March to end diplomatic differences and reopen their embassies as part of a Chinese-brokered deal.
The head of Iranian diplomacy today did not name specific dates for the opening of embassies in the two countries.
