On Thursday, Donald Trump vowed to crush, “wipe out” President Joe Biden, who had just announced his candidacy, in the 2024 election, telling right-wing voters in New Hampshire, “We’re going to take back the White House.”
“On Tuesday, Joe Biden officially announced four more disastrous years” in office, he criticized his Republican predecessor as president.
Trump predictably denounced his successor’s version, describing a country steeped in violence and crime, choking on inflation, where banks are “failing”. In 2024, America will be asked to choose between “success or failure”, anarchy, “prosperity or destruction,” he said.
The former owner of the White House held his first campaign rally after the historic criminal prosecution against him by the New York court.
Undeterred, the real estate mogul vowed to “smash Joe Biden” in front of his supporters, many of whom wore the famous red hats.
He also impersonated Mr. Biden in a way that suggested the octogenarian president was suffering from dementia, which many Republicans claim.
Trump, 76, has previously been highly critical of Florida Gov. Ron DeSandis, who is seen as his biggest challenger in the race for the Republican nomination, though he has yet to formally nominate himself. According to him, he is going to “crash” in the elections.
Despite the prosecution against him, Donald Trump is currently seen as the most dominant Republican candidate. And it is not at all out of the question that the faction will elect him again to meet Joe Biden in November 2024.
New Hampshire, where he is meeting, is one of the first states to host a GOP caucuses in early 2024. If he wins, Mr. Trump will take a valuable and necessary step forward.
While other investigations are underway against him, his financial dealings, the pressure he exerted on election commissions in Georgia in 2020, or even his handling of White House classified files, Donald Trump is immersed in his new campaign campaign, denouncing what else, a “witch hunt” against him.
