Since September, the French company Pernod Ricard has exported tens of millions of dollars worth of spirits to Russia, including Beefeater Gin and Jameson, according to the Ukrainian Solidarity Project, a non-governmental network of international and Ukrainian citizens trying to support Ukraine.

According to the group, the French company Pernod Ricard stopped exporting Absolut vodka to Russia in April 2023. However, they claim that the firm has not stopped selling its other brands to Russia.

“Until Pernod-Ricard does the right thing and stops serving Putin, we are calling for a boycott of Beefeater and their other brands in solidarity with the brave Ukrainians risking their lives to fight the Russian invaders. The company is trying to subtly return this iconic British brand to the shelves of Putin’s Russia, thereby supporting his brutal war against Ukraine. It’s so disgusting,” said Nick Martlew, UK director of the Solidarity of Ukraine project.
