The Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Russian Federation, Lilian Darius, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow on Tuesday, Russian press agencies report.

As TASS reports, Lilian Darius entered the building of the Russian agency without making statements to the press.

Last week, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) of the Republic of Moldova, Filip Cojocaru, said that an employee of the Russian embassy in Chisinau was declared persona non grata.

For his part, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov said after a trip to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chisinau that he did not receive a clear answer regarding this decision. (Agerpress)
