According to Syrian reports, early Monday morning, Israeli artillery struck a Hezbollah target near Quneitra in southwestern Syria. This was followed by the distribution of leaflets warning the Syrians against cooperating with Hezbollah and Iran.
According to journalist Nur Abo Hassan, who works in the area, Israeli artillery fired on the Kurs-an-Nafl site near the Syrian-Israeli border.
In a video circulated on Twitter, an explosion is heard, reportedly from the area. Bashar al-Assad’s pro-presidential newspaper Al-Watan reported that 20 shells were fired at the Kurs-an-Nafl facility.

Lebanese broadcaster Al-Mayadeen reported that there were no casualties in the attack.
Syrian and Israeli officials have not confirmed this information.
Later on Monday, Israeli forces reportedly dropped leaflets in the area warning the Syrian army not to cooperate with Iran and Hezbollah.
The pamphlets emphasized that such cooperation “did more harm than good.”
