
A woman was killed and 34 people were injured today as a result of the overturn of the tourist bus in which they were traveling. South Korea.
The accident happened shortly after 6:00 pm (local time) on a country road on the outskirts of Chongqing city. According to an eyewitness reported by the South Korean Yonhap news agency, the bus stopped on an uphill road when it began to roll backwards and overturned a few meters later.
24 victims were given first aid on the spot, 11 more seriously injured were taken to the nearest hospital. An Israeli woman, about 60 years old, lost the battle, despite the efforts of doctors to save her life.
With the exception of the driver and guide, the passengers were Israelis (11 men and 22 women). They arrived in South Korea on 6 April and were due to leave on the 17th.
