“Using rare photographic footage and interview excerpts, the documentary will include material on Charles’s childhood, his studies and talents, his work at the Prince’s Foundation, fatherhood, his position as head of the army and church, his views on the environment and the paparazzi and of course or his feelings for his two wives,” Ms Manetta told the Athens-Macedonian news agency.
The long-awaited production, which features people with disabilities who have benefited from charities led by the king, focuses on Charles’ answers to the most important questions in his life. “The documentary contains quite a lot of indirect messages and a big surprise at the end,” according to a royal family insider.
In addition to A. Manetta, other Greek filmmakers also participate in the production. Director – a native of Greece, Yiannis Plastargias, editing – Giorgos Mistiloglou.
At the same time, she notes that “you cannot change a team that performs well. I want to thank Giorgos Mistiloglu for the amazing editing and especially for the endless hours of editing that took 2 months until we got the final product.”
In Greece, the documentary will be screened on May 6 on ERT.
