IN Russia The father of a 12-year-old girl who drew an anti-war drawing has been extradited by the Belarusian authorities, RIA reports.

The TASS information was confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, where they said that Aleksey Moskalev, who is accused of “slandering” the Russian army, was handed over to Moscow.

In late March, Moskalev was sentenced by a Russian court to two years in prison for publications critical of the invasion of Ukraine.

He was placed under house arrest, but managed to escape. However, the authorities monitored his movements and he was arrested two days later in Belarus.

His 12-year-old daughter painted an anti-war picture in April 2022. She has been in an institution for teenagers since December.
