One in five solar panels installed globally last year were installed on rooftops in China. China has added more than 51 GW of decentralized small-scale solar power, far more than the total amount of renewable energy in any country. Wind farms and large-scale photovoltaic power added another 100 GW. By 2023, cities will cover 1/3 of commercial buildings and 1/5 of prefabricated homes.
Alternative to cooling – heating
Heat pumps are an alternative to cooling and heating with sales in the tens of millions by 2030. The big problem for Greece is the establishment of their production units.
In Europe, heat pump sales are up 38% in 2022 compared to 2021. In Italy, 500,000 units were sold, with the largest percentage increases in Poland (120%), Belgium (100%) and the Czech Republic. Republic (99%).
