Russian authorities rejected Ukraine’s offer to exchange all Muslim prisoners of war from both camps at the beginning of Ramadan on March 22, Daria Zarivna, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine on communications, told Voice of America, citing the Kyiv Independent.
“We made a proposal to exchange Muslims from both sides as a sign of respect for their culture and traditions, but the Russian side accepted this idea without much enthusiasm,” Zarivna said.

According to the coordination headquarters, more than five seriously wounded soldiers are still in Russian captivity, and Ukraine was counting on their release.
Since the beginning of the invasion, the Coordination Headquarters has made 39 changes. More than 2,000 people have been released from Russian captivity, the coordination headquarters reports.
