Ukraine received Stryker armored personnel carriers from the US in March, but the battle tanks have already been sent to the front, and now the first images of these vehicles have appeared on social networks.
Back on January 20, the US announced that it would arm Ukraine with “two armored brigades” and decided to send more than 100 Bradley, preucm and 90 8×8 Stryker armored personnel carriers.
On March 28, together with the official presentation of the Challenger 2 battle tanks received from Great Britain, the Minister of Defense of Kyiv, Oleksiy Reznikov, announced that his army had received and adopted Stryker armored vehicles.
Now, a little more than a week after that moment, the first images of the Stryker armored vehicle in action have emerged, carrying out a mission somewhere near the frontline.
The footage shows two such vehicles, the first being the M1132 model and equipped with a mine roller, a device mounted in front of the vehicle designed to activate any enemy-laid land mines.
The second car has a more classic configuration, the M1126. However, both have a covered turret with a 40mm grenade launcher, indicating that they are not in an area where they can engage the enemy at any time.

What are Stryker armored vehicles
The M1126 Stryker is an armored personnel carrier for infantry troops equipped with weapons to engage enemy forces.
Stryker transporters are manufactured by General Dynamics Land Systems, have 8×8 traction and are derived from the LAV III/Piranha III models.
Armored vehicles weigh about 16 tons, have a crew of 9 soldiers and can carry up to 9 soldiers. As armament, the Stryker can be equipped with an automatic turret with a 12.7 mm machine gun or a 40 mm grenade launcher.
Other upgraded variants are also equipped with 30 mm autocannon turrets or anti-tank guided missile launchers.
