Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said tonight that his government will respond strongly to the series of rocket attacks on Israel that were launched earlier today. Netanyahu promised a military response hours after 34 rockets were fired from Lebanon, which Israel attributed to Palestinian militants.
“We will harm our enemies and they will pay for all aggressive actions,” Netanyahu said at the start of a security council meeting in Jerusalem in a short video released by his office.
