Twitter CEO and owner Elon Musk suddenly changed the Twitter logo.
By Monday evening, the signature blue bird was gone, replaced by Dogecoin’s dog, a cryptocurrency logo inspired by a “historical” internet meme.
“As I promised,” he wrote on his personal account, posting an earlier online parody of user WSBChairman, a very popular social media account with hundreds of thousands of followers.
“Is there a need for a new platform?” Musk asked.
“Just bought Twitter and replaced the bird logo with Doge,” WSBChairman replied.
“Hahaha, that would be disgusting,” the tycoon replied at the time.
It is currently unknown how long the change will last.
