Russia: Medvedev appeals to Stalin for more arms production

Josef Stalin’s threatening telegram was read by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev during a meeting with the leaders of the Russian defense industry, wanting to emphasize the need to increase domestic production of weapons.

The former president of Russia even published the corresponding picture, while reminding the audience of Stalin’s words: “If in a few days it is proved that you have violated your duty to the Motherland, I will crush you like criminals,” Medvedev read out. “It is unacceptable that our troops suffer at the front due to the lack of tanks, while you are idle here,” Stalin wrote, among other things, in an ultimatum sent to him in 1941 by ammunition for Soviet tanks.

“Comrades, I want you to remember the words of the commander-in-chief,” Medvedev addressed the leaders of the Russian military-industrial complex.

A close associate of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Medvedev, is one of the staunchest supporters of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

After the release of the video referring to Stalin, Medvedev also shared excerpts from an interview he gave to Russian journalists, in which, among other things, he claimed that Russia was at war with NATO.
