United States will deliver a new package of military aid Ukraine, $350 million and mainly includes ammunition for rocket launchers “Himars”, said the head of US diplomacy Anthony Blinken.
“Russia today can end the war alone. Until he does, we will support Ukraine for as long as it takes,” the Foreign Minister said in a statement, while the Chinese President Xi Jinping makes a visit to Moscow.
The delivery of aid, which is also expected to include Bradley armored fighting vehicles, HARM missiles, boats, howitzers and anti-tank weapons, is being carried out with funds already allocated by the US Congress.
“While Russia’s unacceptable aggressive war against Ukraine continues at the cost of huge human losses, we remember the boundless courage and unwavering determination of the Ukrainian people,” Blinken added.
Xi Jinping’s visit to the President of Russia Vladimir PutinWashington, which is expected to last three days, is watching it warily, seeing it as an attempt by Moscow to secure its territorial gains.
