“We are the most damned private army in the world. We are recruiting fighters from all regions of Russia,” the woman says in the video, which was reported by residents of the Kemerovo and Volgograd regions.

In a video sent by users from Kemerovo and Volgograd regions, a woman says: “We are the worst private army in the world. We recruit fighters from all regions of Russia.”

The message is followed by a phone number that actually belongs to Wagner Group recruiters. Local media reports that the video can be seen by users who do not use an ad blocker or VPN service.

Russia banned Pornhub and other adult sites in 2016, and the telecommunications regulator followed a court ruling that found them to be in violation of Russian law.

Wagner’s recruits advertise on Pornhub after abandoning prison recruitment

The new advertising campaign of the Wagner group appeared after Yevgeny Prigozhin announced in mid-February that he would end the recruitment of mercenaries in Russian prisons.

Although he did not explain the decision, it came after reports appeared on Russian Telegram channels that Prigozhin’s mercenaries were recruiting, including convicted criminals, who would then be pardoned if they served a mandatory probationary period. necessarily within 6 months in Ukraine.

This week, Russian deputies adopted a bill that introduces criminal liability for “discrediting” all participants in the “special military operation”, including volunteers, the law on the head of the paramilitary formation Yevgeny Prigozhin.

The reason the negative accounts of Wagner’s group have so far been allowed in Russia is that it is theoretically a private paramilitary organization founded and supported by Prigozhin, not an official structure of the Russian state.

In March of last year, shortly after the start of the war in Ukraine, the Russian parliament passed a well-known law that criminalizes the dissemination of “false information” about the Russian armed forces, although it leaves the possibility for administrative fines in some situations. .
