his head European diplomacy Joseph Borel warned all parties today not to jump to arbitrary conclusions over a report by the US newspaper The New York Times that US officials, after examining the information in their hands, said that the pro-Ukrainian gas pipelines organization was responsible for attacks on natural objects Nord Stream 1 And 2.
“I’m not afraid of the truth. Any truth. But we are talking about … speculation,” Borrell told reporters after a meeting with EU defense ministers in Stockholm. He also recalled that investigations into this case are ongoing in Sweden, Denmark and Germany.
“While investigations are ongoing, we cannot draw definitive conclusions. I have to wait until we have a clear understanding of what happened,” he added.
The Swedish Minister of Defense Pal Jonsson expressed the same opinion. “While the (investigative) process is going on, I don’t want to draw any conclusions. I want to wait for the completion of the investigation,” he said.
Borrell also said that he offered the EU countries to spend 1 billion euros on the joint purchase of ammunition for Ukraine, as well as on replenishing their own stocks.

September 26, 2022 in the Baltic.
“The identity of the perpetrators and their motives are the subject of an ongoing investigation,” the prosecutor’s office added, while specifying that “it is currently not possible to make detailed statements on this matter, especially with regard to the question of whether the sabotage operation was organized by the state.”
