Center “Spring”: In Belarus – arrests due to explosions in Machulishchi
In the Minsk region, searches and arrests continue for a second day over explosions at Machulishchi airfield, where a Russian A-50 warning and control aircraft was damaged on 26 February. This was reported on Sunday, March 5, by the Belarusian center for human rights “Spring” on its Telegram channel.
As human rights activists point out, KGB officers arrest all those prosecuted under administrative and political articles from 2020 to 2023, and after searches, people are taken to the KGB detention center. The center “Spring” is aware of at least a dozen such cases. “It seems that they are acting by the method of “finger to the sky”. They go to those who have drones, light motor vehicles, they go to people who live near Machulishchi,” writes Nasha Niva, citing eyewitnesses.
