American actor Tom Sizemore has died at the age of 61.after several days of hospitalization due to a brain aneurysm, and at that time a few days ago, doctors informed his family that he had no hope of survival.
Sizemore rose to prominence in the 1990s and co-starred with Tom Hanks in the 1998 Oscar-winning film Saving Private Ryan. Other films he appeared in were Pearl Harbor, Heat and True Love, and the 1999 television film Witness Protection, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe.
The fame and abuse prompted him to write a book about heroin and crystal meth addiction.
In 1997, he was arrested on suspicion of abusing his wife, actress and tennis player Maeve Quinlan. They divorced two years later.
In 2003, he was sentenced to six months in prison for beating his partner Heidi Fleiss and was ordered to enter a rehabilitation program.
In recent years, he has appeared in the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai and played a role in the 2017 revival of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks.
