“During the night, the Kyiv authorities tried to use unmanned aerial vehicles to attack civilian infrastructure facilities in the Krasnodar and Adygea regions,” the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.

Russia’s defense ministry said its drone defense systems repelled the attacks, causing the drones to deviate from their original course and cause no damage.

“Both drones lost control and deviated from the flight path. One fell into the field, and the other, deviating from the trajectory, did not hit the target,” the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

The appearance of drones in several Russian regions is the first in such a short period, and there is currently no information about their owners, although in such a situation it is easy to assume that they belong to Ukrainians, the Russian Air Force Service notes.

Russian mass media reported on drone attacks

Russian state news agencies on Tuesday reported a fire at an oil depot in the Krasnodar region, about 240 km southeast of the Crimean peninsula, after a drone was spotted flying over the facility.

On the night from Monday to Tuesday, an “unidentified drone” also fell in the border region with Adygea Krasnodar, reported the head of the republic Murat Kumpilov.

According to him, the car fell about 90 kilometers from Krasnodar and 160 kilometers from Tuapse. According to Kumpilov, no one was injured.

On Tuesday, the airspace of St. Petersburg was closed for almost an hour and a half due to an “unidentified object”. The Pulkovo airport temporarily suspended flights after the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that an unidentified object had been spotted 160-200 kilometers from St. Petersburg, the Fontak newspaper reports.

At a briefing after flights resumed, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said President Vladimir Putin had been fully briefed on the situation.

He declined to comment on the reasons for the outage, which lasted about an hour and a half.

In the suburbs of Moscow, a drone fell near the Gazprom station, Baza and Shot report.

Mash also reported that an unmanned aerial vehicle fell 100 meters from the Voskresen gas compressor station in the Kolomensky district of the Moscow region, approximately 110 km from the Russian capital.

The drone was found in the village of Gubastovo. According to the first information, there are no casualties or damage.

Drones in Belgorod

On Monday evening, three drones fell in Belgorod. Valentyn Demidov, the mayor of the city bordering Ukraine, said that one of the three drones entered the window of the apartment, writes Meduza.

According to Mash, the drones flew towards the power station. The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that no one was injured in the attack, but there was minor damage.
