According to CNN, Ukrainians reported several attacks in the area of Bilogorivka and Kreminnaya in eastern Ukraine, Luhansk region.
“On the front line, there is constant shelling of our settlements, despite the fact that there are many civilians in some settlements,” said the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Gaidai.
“The enemy is well aware of this and continues shelling with heavy weapons,” says Gaidai.
For the past two months, there has been intense firefights on the front line near the border between Luhansk and Kharkiv regions, as well as fighting in the Russian-controlled forests west of Kreminnaya.
“They also have a lot of Lancet kamikaze drones and they’re trying to use them to find positions and equipment,” Gaidai said.
Heavy fighting also took place east of the city of Kupyansk, in the same area.
The State Border Service of Ukraine released a video of aerial reconnaissance of the area, noting that over the past day, 117 reconnaissance flights of drones were carried out, which helped to suppress artillery fire.
The General Staff announced that several civilians were injured in the north of Kharkiv as a result of Russian missile fire.
Heavy shelling was reported along the front line running from north to south on the Luhansk-Kharkiv border.
