The beginning of the official inauguration ceremony of all members of the government of the newly elected President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides is scheduled for 10:00 Wednesday.
The ceremony will take place at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia.
The director of etiquette will announce the names of the newly appointed members of the new government scheme.
After the ceremony, the President of the Republic, accompanied by the Director of Etiquette, members of the Council of Ministers, appointed officials and commissioners, will proceed to the statue of the Head of State Makarios in the courtyard of the Presidential Residence. Palace where the President of the Republic will testify to the crown.
After that, together with all the newborns, they will skip the entrance to the Presidential Palace to take a commemorative photo.
This will be followed by the first short meeting of the new Council of Ministers.
After the end of the meeting of the new cabinet, ministers/deputy ministers will disperse to their ministries/deputy ministers to hold ceremonies for the delivery/reception of their portfolios.
All ceremonies are scheduled for the period from 11:30 to 15:30.
