The government also announced that it will provide £10 million in funding to support the Eurovision Song Contest in May, which the UK is hosting on behalf of Ukraine.
This year the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Liverpool, in the north of England. Ukraine won the contest in 2022 and was generally the host country the next year. The UK came in second last year.
