
A woman and a child were pulled alive from the rubble on Sunday, six days after earthquake V Turkeyby a rescue team from El Salvador in Sehit Aileleri, said President Naguib Bukele of El Salvador.
“The Salvadoran rescue team, with the support of Turkish rescuers, managed to rescue two survivors, a woman and a child, after more than 150 hours under the rubble,” President Bukele tweeted.
He added that they were Melih Efe Ozcan, a child of about 5 years old, and Deniz Dal, a woman in her 30s, who were hospitalized.
The President attached to his message a video in which rescuers from El Salvador pull an immobile child out of the rubble and put it on a stretcher, and screams and screams of people are heard around.
The video then shows a woman who manages to move her arms and free herself before rescuers place a neck collar on her and place her on a stretcher.
The search and rescue services of El Salvador, with the support of Turkish teams, rescued a woman and a child from the rubble 150 hours after the earthquake.

The rescue took place on Sunday morning under the ruins of the Ebrar Citesi Hazal apartment building in Sehit Aileleri, Kahramanmaras municipality in southern Turkey, the President of El Salvador said.
“Authorities said the child had symptoms of hypothermia,” the president said in a statement.
On Wednesday, El Salvador sent a team of 100 rescuers to Turkey, including 58 search and rescue specialists, 42 firefighters and doctors, and several dogs.
