
Chinese social networks tik tak blocked 1,686 accounts allegedly linked to one pro-Russian propaganda network.
The accounts in question, according to the company’s EU report, were spreading “misinformation” about war in Ukraine Europeans, posing as local users, .
It’s about increased blocking of Russian propaganda on TikTok since the beginning of the war Bloomberg.
In total, the accounts included in the pro-Russian network had approximately 130,000 subscribers (an average of 76 subscribers per account).
The network was established in July 2022. The videos that appeared on fake accounts were aimed at residents of Germany, Italy and the UK. The content was created in the respective languages using speech synthesis software.
