It looks like a mini-reshuffle in the Ukrainian government, centered on the change of defense minister, is being delayed.
A senior Ukrainian official said on Monday that no personnel changes would be announced at the Defense Ministry this week, although it was previously reported that Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov would be replaced.
David Arakhamia, head of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s party in the Ukrainian parliament, said on Sunday that Reznikov would be moved to another ministerial post. On Monday, he signaled that there would be no immediate reshuffling.
“There will be no personnel changes in the defense sector this week,” he wrote on the Telegram messaging app, without going into details.
