The ship was about six miles (10 km) from land at the mouth of the Columbia River in the northwestern United States.
Due to rough seas, he signaled for help, prompting the Coast Guard to arrive on the scene by helicopter.
The rescuer even dived into the sea and was only a few meters away from the boat when, as seen in the video, a giant wave swooped in and turned it over, taking it tens of meters away.
Ultimately, both the rescuer and the occupant of the capsized boat were able to return to the Coast Guard helicopter and the rescue operation was successfully completed.
