Ankara has again opened fire on Western countries that are closing their consulates in Istanbul for security reasons, this time through Turku Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu.
In his statements, the Turkish Foreign Minister spoke of deliberate actions, adding that countries that closed their consulates should inform the Turkish authorities in the event of a terrorist threat.

Turkey accuses the West of psychological warfare
It is recalled that yesterday, Thursday, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu spoke of a “psychological war” against Turkey by powerful Western countries under the pretext of an increased risk of terrorist attacks and the real goal of harming the country’s tourism industry. .
“At the moment we are announcing our target of 60 million tourists, after a year of 51.5 million tourists visiting the country, resulting in a $46 billion foreign exchange influx, they (Westerners) are one step away from starting a new psychological war against Turkey,” Soylu said.
The Turkish official’s complaints were prompted by the decision of Germany, Britain, the Netherlands and other Western countries to close their consulates in Istanbul last week.
Justifying Berlin’s decision, the German embassy in Ankara cited the risk of retaliation for recent anti-Muslim protests in European countries (Sweden and Denmark), when far-right extremists burned copies of the Koran.
The US has issued a travel advisory advising American citizens visiting Turkey during this time to take extra care. Yesterday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned the ambassadors of nine countries, which closed their consulates in protest.
The concern of Western capitals was increased by the November deadly bomb on the main street of Istanbul, Istiklal, where the embassies of several countries are located.
